Instructions for compiling a playlist for this project
Thanks for agreeing to contribute a playlist for Elektronisches Lernen Muzik - we're glad that you've chosen to participate. We are looking from three things from you:
1. A playlist of at least 8 tracks
2. An original image or photograph to act as your 'album cover'
3. Some liner notes to accompany and explain your playlist

The playlist
We have an account with mixcloud for playlists to be shared. Rather than trying to explain here in detail what is required, the best thing to do is to visit mixcloud and explore the site (it's very user friendly). However, here are some general pointers of what we're looking for:

- The playlist should be a minimum of 8 tracks in length and saved as a single mp3 file (if you don't have software for saving a series of individual tracks into a single mix, the mixcloud site suggests some free web-based resources).
- We are looking for a playlist that accompanies or inspires your learning. This project isn't about sharing your favourite songs (unless they are also the tracks that fit into your learning space).
Artwork
Once you have uploaded your mp3 file, mixcloud will invite you to upload an image to accompany your playlist. What we would like is an original photograph, image or other visual that somehow represents the playlist you have compiled.

Liner notes
Finally, we would like you to write some 'liner notes' to accompany your soundtrack. What we're looking for is an explanation or discussion of how the playlist accompanies, influences or inspires your learning. We're not looking for a discussion of the cultural significance of the tracks or why you particularly like a track. Once you written some liner notes, e-mail them to [email protected] and we'll add them to the site, alongside your playlist and artwork.

If you want an idea of what we're looking for, the following playlists and liner notes capture what the project is about:
